Polish Ambassador Grzegorz Michalski hosted a reception on Thursday at the Polish Embassy in honor of Polish Economy Minister Pawet G. Wozniak and Turkish State Minister Kürşat Tüzmen.

Speaking at the reception, Tüzmen said Turkey aimed at increasing investments and trade between the two countries.

Wozniak said three issues had come to the agenda during their meeting with the Turkish authorities and one of them was to support the energy security of Europe. "Both countries are in consensus on the matter,” he said.

Meanwhile, Michalski said they supported Turkey's full membership in the European Union.

Former deputy Bülent Akarcalı; Turkish Contractors Unions' Chairman Erdal Eren as well as the ambassadors of Turkmenistan, Belgium, Slovakia, Lithuania, Sweden, Portugal, Romania and Holland were among the guests at the reception.
