The Merchant Marine Academy in Gdynia offers foreigners in the possibility of studying thereat in English in individual study programs paid for in foreign currency, as follows:
From 1996/97, in the
FACULTY OF NAUTICAL SCIENCE, 9,000 USD/yr.
From 1996/97, in the
FACULTY OF MARITIME ADMINISTRATION
Programs in the Depts. Of Management and Commodities, 7,000 USD/yr.;
From 1997/98, in the
FACULTY OF MARINE MECHANICAL ENDINEERING
Programs is marine engineering and mechanical engineering, 9,000 USD/yr.;
From 1997/98, in the
FACULTY OF MARINE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Programs in electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunications, 9,000 USD7 yr.
In the event that a sufficient number of applications are received, regular day-time studies will be commence with English as the language of instruction in all Faculties, payment remaining as above. Foreigners who wish to matriculate at the Marine Academy with Polish as the language of instruction in all faculties and programs. Tuition for such matriculation is 6,000 USD/ yr.

There is presently no possibility for foreigners to study at the Maritime Academy in Szczecin in English, although foreigners are welcome to enroll and study in Polish. The school consists of two faculties: the Faculty of Nautical Science, with Institutes in Port Management, Merchant Fleet Operation, Sea Navigation, and Deep-sea Fishing; and the Faculty of Marine Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Marine power plant operation. Yearly tuition for foreigners studying in Polish, including accommodations and uniforms, is 5,500/yr.
